Buy Exceptions when the General Buy setting is disabled. This option can be manually enabled/disabled or automatically from Market Risk Monitor. When the market risk is high it will be automatically set to disable.
In the Advanced settings you can specify which trading pair to have Buy Exception. This means that the trading pairs from this exception list will have the buy enabled when the General Buy setting is set to disabled.
In this example the buys are always enabled for BTC-USDT.
The selling will still work for all pairs which already have an investment when buys are disabled in general settings.
