If you cannot install Windows 10, 8 or 7 from an USB boot stick or from your old Windows and you have an UEFI BIOS then you can try the following:
- Go to your BIOS settings and set the storage boot to UEFI first or UEFI instead of BIOS legacy.
- Try to boot from the USB stick and install Windows.
- If it still does not work and you have more than 1 SATA drive then open your PC and unplug all your SATA cables and leave just the one with the drive on which do you want to install Windows.
- Try to boot from the USB stick and install Windows, if it works then you can plug the SATA cables back to your other drives after you have installed Windows.
