How to Create a Telegram Bot

In order to create a telegram bot you need to start a chat with the Telegram BotFather https://telegram.me/BotFather

Send the message /newbot

Choose the public name of your bot ex. MyBot bot or my_bot

You will get a response with the HTTP API Token

In order to get your User / Chat Id Talk to the userinfobot telegram.me/userinfobot

And you will get the Chat Id

You can use the HTTP API Token and the Chat Id to program your own bot or use them for a ready made bot.
